Our client is a VetTech Publicly traded company that's growing! We are looking for a Senior Director of FP&A. This role will report directly to the CFO.What are the core responsibilities?
  • Lead the preparation and consolidation of quarterly and annual internal and external financial statements, including meticulous SEC reporting (10Q, 10K).
  • Responsible for ensuring strict adherence to company regulations and SEC reporting guidelines, maintaining impeccable documentation and filings.
  • Define and uphold robust internal controls, including the development and maintenance of comprehensive SOX narratives.
  • Conduct in-depth monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial analyses to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Own and drive the annual budgeting and forecasting process, fostering cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Perform thorough budget-to-actual analyses and effectively communicate cost variances to relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain intricate financial models, forecasts, and analyses to guide strategic priorities and inform critical business decisions.
  • Conduct rigorous research on accounting issues to ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for external auditors, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration.
What are the minimum requirements for the role?
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA License or candidacy strongly preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience in financial reporting or related roles within a public company setting.
  • Comprehensive understanding of internal controls and proven expertise in SOX 404 compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; experience with financial accounting software systems preferred, with MS Dynamics experience considered a plus.
