With a focus on both historical and real-time sports data, we're building systems that outperform the market and deliver value to our users.To know more about us -Role Overview:We're seeking a seasoned Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Python, AWS, and microservices architecture, experienced in developing high-transaction systems. This role is vital for leading the design and development of our technology stack, ensuring our systems can handle the scale and speed required by our operations. You'll collaborate with a cross-functional team to build resilient, efficient, and secure solutions that support our data-driven decision-making processes.Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and resilient microservices using Python and AWS technologies.
Deep understanding and experience of Rust or Go is a plus.
Lead initiatives to architect high-transaction systems capable of managing the volume and velocity of our data.
Implement best practices in software engineering, including CI/CD, containerization, and automated testing to ensure quality and speed of deployments.
Collaborate with data engineers and scientists to integrate AI models and algorithms into production systems efficiently.
Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
Stay ahead of the curve on new technologies, methodologies, and industry trends, applying them to improve our systems and processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of software development experience, with a strong background in Python.
Proven track record of developing and maintaining high-transaction, scalable systems.
Extensive experience with AWS services and managing cloud-based infrastructure.
Solid understanding of microservices architecture and container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including Docker, Jenkins, or similar.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead projects and collaborate effectively across teams.
Passion for sports and sports betting is a plus.
