- Provides guidance and consultation to Project and Construction Managers with general financial management of design and construction projects.
- Manages the collection and organization project and program level data from various sources.
- Participates in the establishment and management of KPIs to drive decision making.
- Supervises the implementation of Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures for control and integrity of work to be performed as defined by the contract.
- Participates in the design and back-end support for dashboard-level reporting of project and program cost, schedule, and performance metrics.
- Organizes project reviews throughout the life of each project.
- Supports schedule management and provides guidance to the Project Scheduler.
- Analyzes variances in cost and schedule performance against the plan and communicates the reasons for the issuance of variance and proposed mitigation plans to Project Management.
- Creates project and program level cost and schedule reports.
- Provides regular, timely updates on project status to senior leadership.
- Participates in the establishment and compliance of document control best practices.
- Ensures projects are executed in accordance with contractual requirements, Program Management Plan and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Monitors vendor compliance with contract commercial terms and commitments.
- Reviews and approves vendor Purchase Orders for proper project and task allocations.
- 10-15 years project controls experience in a large project or program setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in management, Finance, Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Advanced understanding of project accounting methods.
- Advanced understanding of project risk management requirements.
- Exposure to Power BI.
- Knowledge of CPM scheduling methods and exposure to industry-standard software.
- MS Suite, with emphasis on Excel.
- Knowledge of PMIS database management. Experience with E-Builder is preferred.
