Black Mountain Neuro-Medical Treatment Center (BMNTC) is currently accepting applications for Health Care Technician I's (Certified Nurse Assistants). Black Mountain is a small picturesque town in , , and is located at the southern end of the of the in the .BMNTC is a specialized long-term residential care facility that provides high quality, respectful, compassionate care to individuals with developmental disorders and specialized dementia. We are fortunate to be located on a large, wooded campus with plenty of peaceful outdoor space for residents and staff to enjoy.As a Health Care Technician I, you'll have the rewarding opportunity to enhance the quality of life and maintain the dignity of our residents. Part of caring for our residents is taking them for walks or rides on our beautiful campus, teaching them recreational skills, and supporting them with completing their Activities of Daily Living (ADL's).To qualify for this position, you must be listed as a Nurse Aide I by the North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation, but you don't have to have any experience! We'll provide all the training you'll need to become a successful Health Care Technician.Your daily tasks and responsibilities will include:
  • Obtaining and recording vital signs.
  • Training and assisting residents with ADL's.
  • Providing ongoing observation, interaction and feedback to residents.
  • Reporting concerns and recommendations to your supervisor and other appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as delegated by and completed under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
In addition to our standard work schedules, flexible schedules may be available.Standard Work Schedules Shift Premium
First Shift (6:45 A - 3:15 P) 5% Weekend
Second Shift (2:45 P - 11:15 P) 20% Weekday & 25% Weekend
Third Shift (10:45 P - 7:15 A) 20% Weekday & 25% WeekendWork schedules include weekend and holiday rotations.
