Design Your Future at PVHSenior Designer, Licensing - Tommy HilfigerThe Sr Designer, Licensing is responsible for managing our licensee partnerships and graphic businesses while collaborating with the SVP Global Creative Director, Sr Director of Graphic Design (Men’s, Women’s & Kid’s) and playing a crucial role in managing our Licensee partnerships externally. The Sr Designer, Licensing will also be responsible for designing graphics, print and pattern, labels and trim for all licensed product. Licensed product includes: sleepwear, intimates, home collection (shower curtains, bath pumps, bedding), furniture and luggage. In addition to the Licensee businesses, Sr Designer will contribute to Company Store and Wholesale divisions and assure differentiation in the graphic offering for all businesses. Sr Designer will also present graphic line to merchants and sales teams in adoption and proto reviews.Responsibilities:Licensee Partnership Management
  • Oversee all aspects of licensing process, including sample management, and act as day-to-day liaison between internal teams and Licensees
  • Serve as gatekeeper of the Tommy Hilfiger Brand DNA to protect and ensure brand integrity
  • Manage product approvals from concept through product execution
  • Provide direction, guidance and feedback to all internal and external partners in a timely manner
  • Operate as support for external relations, providing partners with information to build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships
  • Help strategize and prospect for new licenses and partnerships
Graphic Design
  • Sr Designer will report directly to SVP Global Creative Director and collaborate on seasonal graphic direction for the licensee businesses
  • Shop for samples and inspiration
  • Align with the seasonal Graphic Concept brief and assure the consistency in the licensee offering
  • Meet with licensee partners and comment on techniques and production capabilities from a graphic design execution perspective
  • Create graphic concept deck for presentations to Licensee Teams
  • Create graphic detail sheets, color separations and tech packs for screen prints and embellishments
  • Comment on samples and strike offs for licensee partners to convey to their vendor base
  • Create seasonal print and pattern offering as it aligns to the graphic concept for licensee businesses
  • Responsible for maintaining proper budget for samples and travel
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in apparel graphics
  • Proficient in painting & drawing skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Understanding of print and pattern as it relates to seasonal graphic concept
  • Understanding of typography
  • Strong creative skills & the ability to work with brand appropriate themes in modern exciting ways
  • Awareness of production techniques for t-shirts, logos, trims, etc.
  • Self-motivated & a team player
  • Clear communicator with ability to work cross functionally with success
  • Must be highly creative with a clear understanding of the Tommy Hilfiger Brand DNA
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with adherence to deadlines
  • Detail oriented and resourceful traits necessary
  • Must be able to find best solutions and developing methods to improve efficiency
  • Must be flexible to adapt to changing trends of business and projects
  • Ability to travel, if needed
  • Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously within a fast paced work environment
This position is not eligible for sponsorship.Pay Range:$135,000 - $170,000PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
