- Prepare work areas by cleaning, leveling, and removing debris to ensure proper formwork placement.
- Measurement, Layout, and Planning: Accurately measuring materials, calculating dimensions, and planning the layout of structures to ensure precise cuts and proper fit.
- Operate grading equipment, including motor graders and laser-guided grading systems, to accurately level and shape surfaces for flatwork construction.
- Clear and prepare work areas, removing debris, vegetation, and obstacles that may impede the grading process.
- Set up and prepare the work area by clearing debris, ensuring proper alignment of forms, and establishing appropriate spacing and placement for rebar.
- Position and secure rebar within concrete forms, ensuring proper spacing, alignment, and overlap as per design requirements.
- Attention to detail and commitment to ensuring high-quality workmanship
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, supervisors, and other tradespeople.

- Regularly working in awkward positions; stooping and reaching; being exposed to dust, dirt, fumes, noise, and sludge and climbing up and down ladders and equipment.
- Periodically lifting up to 100 lbs.
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and chemicals, etc. Chemicals will be handled according to Company policy and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
- Periodically exposed to heights and ability to transfer to other divisions to work on heights.
- Continually working with high noise levels and significant vibration associated with the equipment/tools, and jobsite environmental conditions.
- Regularly works under pressure meeting project schedules and budget guidelines.
- Continually work with diversified work groups and at times confronts and manages aggressive personalities.
- Continually able to work eight (8) to ten (10) hour work days each week and occasional weekends.
- Continually utilize specific vision abilities required to perform the essential functions of the job, i.e., close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- At least one to two years of prior experience working in the Flatwork industry.
