What You Will Do At ODM:Office: Health Innovation & QualityBureau: Pharmacy/DentalClassification: Pharmacologist (PN 20099667)Job Overview:The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) is seeking a Pharmacist to be a part of its Pharmacy unit. As a member of the Medicaid Pharmacy team, your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing expert advice and assistance to pharmacists participating in the Ohio Medicaid Program, including development of prior authorization criteria
  • Assisting in the management of the Medicaid Pharmacy Program
  • Providing oversight of the Medicaid pharmacy benefit administrator and Single Pharmacy Benefit Manager
  • Advising the Drug Utilization Review and Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committees
  • Providing managed care pharmacy program oversight
  • Reviewing state and federal rules and regulations related to pharmacy
