Sports Trading Team Lead

• Leading the Pre match & Live trading operations in the Bogota office.
• Taking ownership of pre-match odds, for all Latam domestic sports leagues, Politics, Entertainment, and any special PR request. You may also need to assist with other sports as required.
• Cooperate with the trading management team.
• Risk control and ownership of sports limits, paybacks, and following compliance regulations.
• Ensure a full and competitive sports offering is always provided.
• Liaise with third party providers to ensure an optimal trading product is delivered and margin is maximised.
• Work with the Trading Product team to continue to develop the product and improve trading tools.
• Ensure team works closely with Client Risk department to enhance customer analysis.
• Monitor market trends/competitors.
• Effective error reporting and problem solving.
• Produce and provide analysis of product performance periodically as defined by the Head of Sports Trading.
• Recruitment, Coaching and development of all team members.
• Undertake performance reviews for all direct reports, along with providing regular feedback.
• Ensure staffing always meets the demands of the business.
• Assisting other teams within the trading department where necessary.
• Build a close relationship with Commercial teams to meet their needs with regards to PR, marketing, social media and special bets.

• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Knowledge on both pre match and live.
• Good organization and communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
• Excellent understanding of the sportsbook product, sports trading, and customer trends.
• A strong sense of team spirit and an eagerness to promote knowledge sharing.

• A sound understanding of Microsoft Office.
• Has a good grasp of mathematical concepts, including an understanding of statistics and probabilities.
• A real passion for sports, and an inherent understanding of what Sports fans want.
• Skilled in getting the best out of people in an always dynamic workplace.
• A flexible work schedule will be required including evenings and weekends.
• Fluent in English.
• Based in Bogota or willing to relocate.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working in a sportsbook environment.
