- Effectively lead the Asset Management team as an integrated part of Musselwhite's operations
- Actively drive a safety-focused work environment, implementation fatality risk control and verification processes, and fostering an environment where employees are empowered to speak up about safety concerns.
- Conduct Critical Control Verifications as defined under Health and Safety objectives
- Lead all contractors and employees to ensure compliance with all SOPs, safety and environmental standards, and local and company regulations.
- Develop processes and procedures to support the effective implementation of the Asset Management strategy at all Newmont mine locations in Musselwhite.
- Coordinate with center asset management the development of a clear annual maintenance plan integrated with the zero based budgeting and planning process.
- Recommend systems and process design in conjunction with operational and global systems and processes needs that achieves overall technical, commercial and social business objectives.
- Through change management, encourage integration across the value stream to better serve Musselwhite's fixed, mobile and electrical asset utilization targets.
- Develop and supervise the capital expenditure and operating budgets for asset management areas in alignment with site, regional and corporate objectives.
- Coach and mentor team members to improve performance, ensure ongoing growth and development and design organic succession plans. Identify and develop people to meet current and future organizational needs.
- Monitor global key performance indicators (KPI's) used for Asset Management team.
- Be an effective team member of the Senior Leadership team at Musselwhite and will build a work environment of accountability and openness.
- Develop practical and viable contingency plans in response to key risks to ensure plan delivery.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field or significant industry experience.
- 15-20 years' experience in mining and/or heavy construction industry with a strong background in Asset Management.
- 10-15 years Supervisory experience leading a successful team and implementing value driven improvements.
- Demonstrated knowledge of planning, scheduling and budget forecasting
- Development of annual maintenance plans and RCM models
- Proven experience working in changing environments in a remote setting
- Validated experience developing and delivering business strategies that improve Asset Management performance, reliability and safety, reducing operating costs and increasing return on assets.
- Demonstrated experience with change, communication and knowledge management methods and systems
- Previous experience in facilities management or professional services contract.
