- Reviews all accounts payable for proper authorization and coding
- Enters all accounts payable and organizational deposits into QuickBooks
- Exports from Quickbooks to set up budget worksheets or other templates in Excel
- Responds to vendor inquiries regarding payments
- Maintains vendor and deposit files
- Maintains subsidiary ledger and program tracking
- Accurately maintains and updates the ServantKeeper database of parishioners
- Records offertory and other deposit contributions in ServantKeeper
- Pulls reports and prints letters from the ServantKeeper database
- Verifies employee and volunteer compliance with Archdiocesan Prevent and Protect
- guidelines
- Maintains Prevent and Protect records and completes annual audit
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred
- Working knowledge of approved parish software
- Three or more years related experience in general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and cash receipts
- Highly self-directed with an attention to detail and ability to prioritize and organize effectively
- Working knowledge of the Internet, e-mail, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Willingness to support the mission and structure of the Catholic Church
- Willingness to work in a team environment
