- Apply meticulous project management techniques to define the digital operating model and build out capabilities and ways of working for Alcon’s Digital Organization.
- Act as the strategic advisor to senior management on all people related matters.
- Partner with a variety of business leaders to create and implement HR strategies focused on talent management, organizational development and employee engagement in order to stand up and deliver on Alcon’s Digital Organization.
- Leverage HR department functions and capabilities through ongoing discussion and collaboration with HR colleagues to drive and influence the Digital Organization.
- Directly support the Global Head of Digital Health as the single point of contact.
- Actively get in touch with internationally based business leaders and work with them to collaboratively find opportunities for HR program and practice improvement.
- Mentor global business leaders and managers on HR and people management practice.
- Maintain current understanding of the organization’s financial and quality indicators.
- Scan the broader business environment on an ongoing basis for trends and issues that may affect talent management in the organization.
- Analyze a broad range of HR data to identify valid insights, and convert these insights into recommendations the business can use to make decisions.
- Provide business leaders and managers with an HR perspective on business decisions by using solid knowledge of all HR functions, as well as leverage insights and inputs into the Digital world.
- Coordinate with HR department function subject matter authorities and others to deliver on business requests and solve business problems.
- Implement HR-related programs within the Digital Organization.
- Partner with assigned client groups to ensure a complete understanding of business needs and objectives are achieved.
- Proactively resolve HR and business issues and provides solutions through organizational efficiency and employee life cycle.
- Experience within the Digital and Technology space (Eg. handling of teams responsible for commercializing digital products).
- Experience with defining new operating models, building new capabilities and ways of working strongly.
- Proven HR experience in an international business environment.
- Detailed knowledge of human resource management practices and employment related legislation.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +18 yrs; Assoc.+14 yrs; M.S.+7 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
