Under the direction of the Director of the Center for Teaching Excellence, this employee works under minimum supervision but has maximum responsibility and accountability. This individual must be self-motivated, organized, possess sound judgment and maintain confidentiality, and be a creative problem solver.Midlands Technical College is dedicated to providing excellent service to its students, employees, and the community.This position is located on the Midlands Technical College Airport Campus Bachelor's degree in education, educational technology, instructional design or related field plus 2 years of educational technology work in the higher education setting. Master's degree preferred and strong proficiency with the D2L LMS and HTML5 preferred.In-depth knowledge and experience with educational technology tools(Padlet, Nearpod, Loom, etc) . Proficient in multimedia software within the Adobe Suite. Create engaging educational content and provide technical support. Facilitate effective workshop delivery. Ability to establish positive relationships and work seamlessly within teams. Adapt to evolving technologies while upholding ethical standards, ensuring privacy and security in educational settings.
