You will be working on specialties including orthopaedics, general surgery, plastics, gynaecology, urology, trauma, maxillofacial, dental, ophthalmology and ENT. Being a regional hospital, your patients will range in age from paediatric right through to geriatric.This is a varied role where no two days will feel the same - whether it is providing on the floor clinical support to staff, training and development, or supporting developing group study days. The educators also work closely with the tertiary training providers to showcase the perioperative environment.Jointly with the current Nurse Educator, you will be responsible for the facilitation of education for our Perioperative nursing team. You will also work closely with the Nurse Manager and Associate Clinical Nurse Managers to develop and expand the current Perioperative Education programme and support clinical practice when required.This is a permanent 0.9 FTE role working 36 hours per week.Key Requirements
Registered Nurse with a current Practicing Certificate
At least 7 years post registration experience
Relevant Postgraduate Diploma
Clinical teaching experience
