Description :INTERNSHIP TYPE: Internship - Master's LevelPROGRAM: Pathways OTPSITE LOCATION: Putnam, CTHOURS/SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday (5:30AM-1:30PM)- shift will vary based on intern scheduleABOUT THE PROGRAM: PATHWAYS OTPPathways is an accredited Opiate Treatment Program that provides MAT (primarily methadone), individual therapy, group counseling, psycho-educational groups, individualized treatment planning, recovery coaching, and ongoing assessment and referrals.PROGRAM OUTLINE:By participating as a Master’s Level Intern with CHR, you can expect to gain firsthand experience and training related to psychiatric & substance abuse diagnostic evaluation and treatment as well as other services, including assessment, consultation, individual, couples, group, family treatment and medication evaluation and monitoring.QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Must be enrolled in a master’s degree program in mental health field.Experience: Demonstrated experience in mental health treatment preferred but not required.Licensure/Certification/Registration: Valid driver’s licenseWHY INTERN AT CHR?
