Our client, an iGaming operator is currently seeking a skilled Data Developer to join their dynamic data team. As part of this team, the individual will play a crucial role in organizing and managing data within the data warehouse environment, as well as delivering insights to key stakeholders through reports and visual dashboards. The ideal candidate will contribute to the daily upkeep of data organization within the warehouse and take an active role in administering current and future dashboarding tools for the team. Managing data warehouse reporting and database schema maintenance.
Overseeing the administration of Tableau technology suite.
Designing and implementing data-driven dashboards for reporting needs.
Collaborating with team members to ensure data quality across multiple environments.
Participating in scoping exercises with internal and external teams.

Skill Requirements (Technical)

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
2+ years of experience with RDBMS (e.g., MySQL, MariaDB) and columnar technologies (e.g., ClickHouse, Redshift, Snowflake).
Proficiency in SQL scripting, schema management, and ETL data concepts.
Familiarity with Tableau-related technologies, especially Tableau Server. Experience with Tableau Cloud, Tableau Desktop, Tableau Bridge, Prep Conductor is a plus.
Experience with BI reporting tools and dashboard design (e.g., Tableau Desktop, Qlik Sense, PowerBI).
Proficiency in version control tools like GIT.
Strong understanding of basic Linux commands and server administration.

Skill Requirements (Soft)

Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, GO, C#, C).
Experience with AWS EC2-based machine maintenance and administration.
Ability to carry out service uplifts for stakeholders with minimal disruption.
Familiarity with Cloud technologies, especially the AWS cloud suite.
Experience with data streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
