- Deliver or retrieve durable medical equipment (DME) and supplies to customers who are on at-home hospice care (wheelchairs, lift recliners, walkers, metal framed hospital beds, oxygen tanks, etc.).
- Provide patient education on the equipment - how to operate, set up, proper use and maintenance.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the company vehicle and warehouse as needed, including equipment.
- $18/hour, paid bi-weekly - overtime pay is $27/hr for any hours worked over 40!
- Mon-Fri Schedule, with your day starting in Sellersburg at 8:30am and ending between 5pm-7pm based on that days route.
- ALL DRIVERS work a rotating on call schedule for the weekends. On average this is once every 4-5 weekends. $100 on call pay (even if no work) plus overtime pay for any calls you go on!
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 80lbs as well as load/unload and handle awkward sized and shaped equipment.
- Must have a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Report/Driving Record) and clean criminal background.
- Prior DME/Medical Supply delivery/set-up/maintenance experience a plus!
- Must be comfortable working independently and handling stressful/emotional situations.
