- Knowledge of the terminology, principles, and techniques of hydrology, water quality modeling, aquatic ecology, wastewater, and watershed management;
- Knowledge of management principles and techniques;
- Knowledge of planning and scheduling principles and techniques;
- Knowledge of databases and geographic information systems;
- Knowledge of budget processes and procedures;
- Knowledge of water quality data collection and analysis principals and procedures;

- Do you possess a bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering sciences, environmental science, natural sciences, biological sciences, physical sciences, environmental policy, public health, or computer science from an accredited university or college and 4 years of relevant experience; OR Masters in listed areas and 2 years of relevant experience; OR PhD in listed areas; OR 8 years of relevant experience. Additionally, must have at least two years of experience as a supervisor, coordinator, project manager, program manager, team lead, team trainer, or have completed relevant managerial/leadership training.
- Experience with, and/or knowledge of the challenges unique to working with large datasets.
- Knowledge of bioassessment data collection and interpreting results.
- Proficient in functional use of geospatial applications including ESRI GIS, QGIS, Web Mapping Applications.
- Knowledge and experience in project management principles and techniques.
- Skill in using statistical programming languages including R, Python, or SAS to conduct data analysis and advanced statistical analyses.
- Skill in using Python to create ArcGIS or QGIS geospatial processing tools.
- Skill and experience of developing and using watershed and water quality models to characterize impaired waters and establish restoration targets (example: PLSM, HSPF, LSPC, WASP, ArcNLET, etc.)
- Valid Driver's License.
