- Assist in Making decisions on technical problems and methods and represents the organization in conferences.

- Requires the use of advanced techniques and the modifications and extension of theories, precepts and practices of the field and related sciences and disciplines.
- Supervision and guidance relate largely to overall objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters.
- Receives direction on unusual conditions and developments.
- This position will involve working with a multidisciplinary team who work together to conceive, permit, design and provide construction administration support for small and large projects.
- Designs power distribution systems, microgrids, lighting systems, etc.
- Performs Construction Administration services, including review of shop drawings, RFI's and review of contractor proposed change orders
- Evaluates feasibility of alternative design approaches in conjunction with senior team members
- Performs site/ field visits to ascertain existing conditions including equipment condition evaluations
- Organizes/plans projects to ensure quality controls and project criteria are met and within budget
- Assists in preparing proposals and presenting to Clients
- Acts as an assistant to the Electrical Department Manager with workload planning
- Assists with mentoring of junior staff within the Electrical Department
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field + 4 years of related experience and/or education
- EIT
- Valid Drivers License
- Professional Engineer (PE)
- Proficient in SKM and electrical analysis software
- 6+ years of electrical systems design experience
- Proficiency using AutoCAD and Revit
- Ability to interact with others on a multi-discipline team
- Ability to work on multiple projects at once
- Good time management skills, a strong work ethic and attention to detail
- People management experience a plus

- Excellent Communications Skills with the ability to present designs to clients
- Additional Industry Certifications such as LEED AP or CEM
