Responsible for repairs or adjustments to jewellery, such as necklaces, rings, and bracelets, including engraving, setting, casting, polishing and finishing jewellery.
  • Manually designing custom-made and special orders, in a timely and cost effective manner, dealing with both Bespoke and Mass production whilst ensuring hardwaringess and high quality of product; • Issuing estimates of charges to customers; • Operating of machinery and processing theoretical procedures • Diamond setting • Providing excellent after-sales as the case may be as well as executing repairs and sizing requirements; adjustments, re-setting and re-creating requested modifications to jewellery • Maintain repair diary • Finishing and delivering repairs between the timeframes asked by the Manager or a person assigned by the Manager • Cleaning, polishing and coating application as required • Process local production items; in quantities requested by the ordering department • Ensuring tools and machinery are in perfect condition; raising purchase orders for servicing requests as required and keeping an up to date inventory system • Ensuring that consumables are always in stock and raising purchase orders as required • Identify additional customer requirements and liaise with the Technical Watch Specialists as the case may be • Assist the Customer Service Manager with general business duties and day to day operations of the department

  • Transform and process metal via specific process/procedure: melting metal, casting into shape
  • Transform and process metal via specific process/procedure: smoothening, hammering
  • Check manufactured piece (size, symmetry, aesthetics...); Authenticate piece by marking/stamping
  • Cut out elements (sawing, drop forging from a metal plate/sheet) and set values (co-ordinates) or apply/copy markings
  • Detect defects, nuances, alloys... of materials. Determine the limitations of item
  • Carry out finishing or make specific decorations: sanding
  • Restore or conserve jewellery or gold work
  • Execute repairs or make adaptations: straighten out precious metal jewellery
