- Identify quality problems and recommend solutions. Calibrate, validate, or maintain equipment.
- Write or revise standard quality control operating procedures.
- Evaluate analytical methods and procedures to determine how they might be improved.
- Perform visual inspections of finished products.
- Receive and inspect raw materials.
- Interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations on appropriateness of data for release.
- Monitor testing procedures to ensure that all tests are performed according to established item specifications, standard test methods, or protocols.
- Supply quality control data necessary for regulatory submissions. Complete documentation needed to support testing procedures, including data capture forms, equipment logbooks, or inventory forms.
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in dimensional inspection of aerospace components.
- Superior blue print reading skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in the use of precision hand tools, gages, optical comparator, and surface plate work.
- Experience inspecting tight tolerance, high value components.
- Familiar with the use of personal computers.
- Self-motivation and ability to prioritize projects to meet completion dates

- 5 years of minimum experience inspecting aerospace components precision hand Tools, Articulating Romer ARM and/or CMMs
- Troubleshooting, Root cause and corrective action analysis experience
- Understand the department KPI’s metrics to improve performance.
- Excellent blueprint reading skills including GD&T per ASME Y14.5M-2018 standard.
- Strong communication skills with a heavy customer focus
- Must have a continuous improvement attitude.
- Clear understanding of production versus development environments
- Familiar with use of personal computers
- Self-motivation and ability to prioritize projects to meet completion dates.
