- Document and execute business processes and standard operating procedures for the department.
- Work collaboratively and act as liaison with agency developers, including recommending system modifications and enhancements to automated system processes to support Agile methodologies of system build.
- Participate in user testing for new technology and provide actionable recommendations for improvements.
- Develop standard operational reports for senior management to allow management to make critical decisions on operational process development.
- Support the development of analytics capacity within the Department.
- Develop queries to extract, manipulate, and summarize information.
- Retrieve and analyze complex internal/external data, identify anomalies, trends, and risk.
- Support and perform data acquisition/data collection and data discovery.
- Develop tools and models to automate or increase automation of audit controls to detect fraud, waste, and abuse in benefit adjudication.
- Ensure accuracy of benefit payments to PFML constituents.
- Address ad-hoc analytics requests to support projects.
- Supervise daily work performance for direct reports.
- Provides guidance to a team of Compliance Analysts regarding payment issues.
- Provides continuous improvement to program integrity efforts through reporting and analytics.
- Translating claimant needs into operational processes, supporting insights with data-driven analysis.
- You are comfortable querying your own data and building dashboards using BI tools like PowerBI. You can work with data and customer insight to learn about problems, and scope and measure impact of problems and solutions.
- Provide insight to payment issue escalations raised by the Payments Team.
- Manages the reconciliations of weekly cash advance requests and weekly expenses of advances in coordination with EOL Finance.
- Collaborates with internal partners, and use of data & analytics, in broadening DFML’s development efforts.

- Knowledge of the principles and practices of management science including problem solving and decision-making.
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of organizational behavior, including organizational structure.
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of human resource management, including behavioral techniques, planning, forecasting, organizational development, etc.
- Knowledge of work simplification methods.
- Knowledge of statistical methods and techniques including sampling
- Knowledge of the terminology and standard abbreviations used in statistics.
- Knowledge of the methods of general report writing.
- Knowledge of the methods used in the preparation of charts, graphs, and tables.
- Ability to understand, explain, and apply the laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures, specifications, standards, and guidelines governing assigned activities.
- Ability to analyze and determine the applicability of data to draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations.
