As a Speech Language Pathologist with our organization, you will have the opportunity to assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with various speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. You will work closely with clients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each person's unique needs and goals.Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on evaluation findings, client goals, and evidence-based practices.
- Provide direct therapy services to individuals, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities.
- Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document client outcomes.
- Educate and support clients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and techniques to enhance functional communication skills.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, educators, and psychologists, to ensure coordinated care and optimal outcomes for clients.Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility for certification.
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
