Job Description:The Equipment Technician I will support the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing repairs on production machines, equipment and tools. Follow directions from superiors, diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, engineering specifications, method sheets, and SOP's.Responsibilities:Essential Functions:

Respond to equipment malfunction tickets and utilize technical skills to define the problem, analyze the situation, and implement corrective measures for basic equipment.
Assist technicians and manufacturing engineers resolve malfunctions of complex equipment.
Utilize resources such as procedures, equipment manuals, troubleshooting documentation, method sheets, standard operating procedures to resolve equipment malfunctions
Assist in the execution of Preventative Maintenance and Calibrations
Assist in the execution of equipment and process validations of basic equipment
Assist in the Control and management of production equipment spare parts.
Make sure the safety requirements of the facility are met
Perform additional activities as directed by management
Collaborate maintaining the work areas cleaned.
Basic knowledge in different Value Stream process and machinery, providing support to the Engineers as required.

Qualifications:Qualifications:

Experience in delivering support to manufacturing equipment is a plus.
Validation, calibrations and doc change knowledge is a plus.
Technical school background is a must on Electrical, Mechanical and Pneumatic Systems or student with more than 50% an engineering degree.
Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics and specification sheets.
Able to communicate and coordinate good ideas through to implementation.
Ability to communicate well, both orally and written.
Service oriented.
Intermediate knowledge of English is a plus.
Understanding of lean processes
In-depth understanding of equipment, mechanics and application related to value streams.
