Job Summary:The Cognizant contingent workforce program is a jointly managed business process between the Cognizant Talent Acquisition and Procurement organizations. This program offers a unique environment and challenge to anyone familiar with the contingent workforce space, as most contractors acquired and managed through the program are placed at end clients of Cognizant and are revenue generating. This provides the rare opportunity for contingent workforce professionals to directly oversee a critical supply chain of a company.The purpose of Cognizant’s contingent workforce program is to centrally manage the acquisition, lifecycle, and payment of external contractors and the suppliers that provide them. The teams who manage the program are responsible for risk mitigation, cost discipline, process improvement, and working towards the long-term goal of a self-improving and automated program in partnership with our managed service provider (MSP).This position will focus on the end-to-end operations and technology that support the North American contingent workforce program, with an eventual expansion of responsibilities to the global level.This position will be challenging in nature and requires an individual with a strong work ethic as well as a willingness to continuously learn and improve themselves. It is an excellent position for those looking to grow to a leadership role in the contingent workforce industry in the next three to five years.Job Duties and Responsibilities:· Operations:o Process Management§ Review, improve, and maintain comprehensive documentation of the operations architecture and operating procedures of the program.§ Build, maintain, and monitor comprehensive end-to-end process reporting and analytics that incorporate contractual/program SLAs/KPIs, identifies process errors, and monitors supplier performance.§ Build and maintain business relationships with key stakeholders across internal departments in partnership with the managed service provider (MSP) teams.§ Act as the point of escalation for any process-related issues from the business and work with relevant parties to resolve those issues in a timely manner.o Process Improvement§ Utilize the information gathered from reporting/analytics, business relationships, escalations, and surveys to identify areas of improvement for the processes of the program.§ Build clear business cases on potential process improvements to secure support and approval from Procurement and Talent Acquisition leadership as well as other relevant stakeholders.§ Oversee and manage the implementation and change management of process improvements.· Technology:o Technology Management§ Review, improve, and maintain comprehensive documentation on the systems architecture and operating procedures of the program.§ Build, maintain, and monitor comprehensive end-to-end systems reporting and analytics that incorporate contractual and program SLAs/KPIs as well as quickly identifies system errors.§ Build and maintain business relationships with teams’ key to the support, maintenance, and improvement of the systems architecture in partnership with the managed service provider (MSP) and vendor management system (VMS) teams.§ Act as the point of escalation for any technology-related issues and work with relevant parties to resolve those issues in a timely manner.o Technology Improvement§ Utilize the information gathered from reporting/analytics, business relationships, escalations, technology release notes, and surveys to identify areas of improvement for the systems architecture.§ Build clear business cases on potential system improvements to secure support, funding, and approval from Procurement and Talent Acquisition leadership as well as other relevant stakeholders.§ Oversee and manage the testing, implementation, and change management of system improvements.· Audit:o Audit Management§ Ensure all audit requirements for the program are understood and documented between the contingent workforce program and Procurement CoE.§ Work with internal/external audit and the Procurement CoE to ensure audit receives all required information during their reviews of the program.§ Work with internal/external audit and the Procurement CoE to ensure all audit finding are reconciled in a timely manner.Qualifications:Since we are looking for an individual who is willing to learn and improve themselves over time, we are open to various types of experience and backgrounds (technical, non-technical, etc.). The below are our minimum qualifications for the position:· 3-5 years of experience in the contingent workforce industry regardless of the source of experience (client, supplier, MSP, VMS, etc.).· A demonstrable history of successful contingent workforce process and/or technology design/improvement.· A deep understanding of vendor management systems and their functionality (Beeline, Fieldglass, etc.).· A moderate understanding of data extraction, transformation, reporting, and analysis utilizing tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Etc.· An entry to moderate level understanding of enterprise technology relevant to a contingent workforce program (purchasing systems, payment systems, HCM systems, etc.).Employee Status : Full Time EmployeeShift : Day JobTravel : NoJob Posting : Apr 17 2024About Cognizant Cognizant (Nasdaq-100: CTSH) is one of the world's leading professional services companies, transforming clients' business, operating and technology models for the digital era.
