We are looking for Recruitment Partner to join our Human Resources team.You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return we will offer a competitive salary of £33,101 - £35,899 pa inc London WeightingThe Recruitment Partner role:A brand-new role following a restructure of the HR Service, this role is central to delivering the teams mission of being a college centric HR service that supports delivering an exceptional learner experience in a safe environment.As our Recruitment Partner, you will oversee resourcing needs across the College, working closely with the HR Operations Manager and HR Operations Partner, to anticipate future staffing needs and proactively source high calibre candidates. The post holder will provide sound advice to hiring managers with a focus on recruiting safely and guide the priorities of the HR Assistants on a day-to-day basis.This role is, as all recruitment roles are, fast paced and requires exceptional organisational and people skills to be utilised on a daily basis; with points in the year that typically see a higher need in line with the academic calendar. Ideally the successful candidate will be available to start in or before March 2024.Key Responsibilities of our Recruitment Partner:
  • Build on and continuously review recruitment tools and procedures within the team to ensure that a purpose driven approach is adopted in meeting ongoing hiring needs
  • Work in collaboration with hiring managers from the conception of a post needing to be filled, to onboarding an excellent quality candidate
  • Working with the HR Operations Partner, CIS (data) and Quality teams, ensure that staff utilization is consistently considered
  • Monitor accurate application of College wide rules and standards in the production and advertisements of roles, preventing dilution of qualification criteria and ensuring accurate remission hours are attributed to respective roles
  • Create engaging advert copy, and utilize modern talent attraction methods to maximize reach
  • Support hiring managers in screening applicants, delivering a strong shortlist of candidates for roles
  • Scheduling interview and assessment days, and coordinating the full process
  • Ensure panel members are appropriately trained in interview practice, safeguarding interviews, and provide feedback in their techniques to maintain the credibility of the interview process
  • Oversee the completion of appropriate checks on candidates in line with KCSIE Part 3, and support the execution of effective risk assessments where required
  • Create a structure within which to evaluate the candidate experience to ensure the HR team nurtures moments that matter
  • Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System, and internal trackers and ensure the maintenance of the Single Central Register
  • Keep up to date with industry practices in recruitment
  • Commit to maintaining professional standards through CPD Foster and maintain positive relationships with PSL agency suppliers, through regular review intervals to ensure quality of service is maintained
Our ideal HR Recruitment Partner should have the following skills and experience:
  • 5 GCSE's or equivalent including Maths and English (A-C grade)
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification in HR or Recruitment
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification in HR or Recruitment Practice would be an advantage
  • Experience working in a fast paced internal recruitment environment
  • Experience of working with an FE setting (or similar)
  • Previous experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and HR Information Systems
  • The ability to work well in a fast paced and pressured environment
  • Advanced prioritisation and organisational skills
  • Familiarity with the requirements of Part 3 of KSCIE
  • Knowledge of Employer branding and advertising processes
  • An understanding of Safeguarding Legislation and its application within the educational sector
