Job DescriptionLaboratory ResponsibilitiesExecute assigned/trained assays, constituting 80-90% of working hours.Fulfill all duties pertinent to the Quality Control Chemist role as necessary.Manage inventory of laboratory supplies, media, and reagents.Maintain and update relevant databases, and generate monthly reports.Conduct laboratory investigation reports as required.Utilize Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for sample and test result tracking.Leadership ResponsibilitiesProvide support and supervision to a team of analysts.Participate in new hire interviews.Assist in the onboarding process of new employees.Contribute to the training of team members.Conduct peer review of data.Coordinate equipment maintenance and calibration.Be available for overtime and weekend shifts as needed.Adapt quickly to changing priorities to accommodate immediate testing requirements and assist team members in refocusing as necessary.
