  • Interim Manager for the Emergency Department Open to extended and open to transition to perm
  • The Manager of Emergency Department is accountable for the direction, supervision and evaluation of patient care performed by nursing personnel within their assigned service setting in accordance with established goals.
  • Responsible for unit operation, scheduling, position control, staffing and coordination of the quality improvement process.
  • Applies advanced, broad-based knowledge of nursing practice and theory as well as, advanced knowledge of techniques of supervision, management and leadership as applied to specific nursing responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • ​​​​BLS and ACLS
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH)
  • ​Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Passionate about patient care
  • Requires a minimum of two years of current RN Emergency Room Manager experience.
  • One year of Telemetry experience
  • Graduate from a fully accredited RN program, BSN preferred
  • Active unencumbered California RN license
  • One year of Cerner experience
