- Respond to youth who are struggling to maintain in school, treatment groups, and/or other designated activities, using skills from the Safe Community Skill Development curriculum.
- Support reintegration process for youth returning from isolation using a restorative lens, reintegration circles and other restorative practices to safely engage youth into their living units post incidents
- Provide information to living unit teams in person, via email and the JJIS unit log on interventions provided to youth and any ongoing support needed for the youth including date for your next visit.
- Starting Salary Expectations: $56,952.00 yearly to $65,616.00 yearly; based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
- Position Salary Range: up to $88,704.00 Annual Salary
- This position receives annual increases on anniversary date until the maximum of the salary range is reached.

- $2,500 life insurance policy paid for by your union, SEIU Local 503. This policy is in effect if you are an active member.

- A bachelor's degree in a behavioral science or related field; OR
- Three years of experience observing, evaluating and recording behavior and maintaining discipline of individuals in a program related to juvenile justice, treatment programs, or special education within an institution or residential living unit; OR
- An associate degree from an accredited school in a behavioral science or equivalent training program with an emphasis on juvenile systems, special education, and/or secondary education AND one year experience working in a juvenile justice, treatment, or secondary education program.

- Team player: Capable of working effectively within a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.
