Global People Services, RegionsThe Global People Services in Vestas is looking for a proven people leader to guide our payroll teams across 5 regions into the next stage of our global payroll transformation.Responsibilities
  • Leading the global Payroll organization to deliver end-to-end Payroll processes globally
  • Managing the global payroll projects of streamlining process and vendors , including advising and managing the transition to third party providers in a seamless manner
  • Responsible for building a work force management office in our SSC in Manila
  • Ensuring each payroll is updated with local regulations, tax laws and compliance requirements
  • Monitoring and managing payroll transformation and continuously improving processes to ensure compliance, efficiency, and accuracy
  • Accountable for all global countries' effective payroll risk management
  • Accountable for effective monitoring of global payroll function actuals vs budget
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an international payroll leader manager with a focus on managing payroll operations across multiple locations and regions
  • Proven experience in managing payroll transformations to shared service centers and third party providers
  • In-depth knowledge of legislation and regulations related to payroll across different countries
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to lead a global team and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization
  • Proven continuous improvement skills and experience
Competencies
  • Collaborating with local payroll teams, external payroll service providers and HR teams to ensure seamless payroll delivery
  • Ensuring consistency and standardization so employees are paid timely & accurately, through a compliant process, including salary calculations, deductions and statutory contributions
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure that payroll processes support the company's strategic objectives
  • Developing and implementing best practices in global payroll administration, including managing large global vendors in a largely outsourced setup, ensuring vendors are delivering efficient and effective services aligned with contractual terms and condition
  • Identifying risks and opportunities in payroll administration and developing strategies for risk management and optimization.
  • Responsible for ensuring our payroll processes are at all times audit-ready and compliant
