The duty location is Redstone Arsenal, AL.Military experience is a plus. This is not a teleworking position.Description:This role focuses on managing and enhancing our SharePoint environment and establishing a robust knowledge management system to support decision-making processes within the Project Office. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in system management, database programming, and an aptitude for technical innovation in a high-stakes defense environment.Responsibilities:
  • Leverage advanced analytical skills to extract actionable insights from complex datasets, and employing statistical methods and data visualization tools to inform strategic decisions and drive business performance.
  • Maintain and administer SharePoint environments, ensuring compliance with security, performance, and organizational standards.
  • Secure content, manage user access controls, and enforce data security and compliance policies.
  • Design and implement new content management strategies to enhance collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Provide technical leadership on SharePoint and related technologies, advising on best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Develop and deploy database solutions using programming languages to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Offer user support and training to ensure effective use of the knowledge management systems.
  • Collaborate with IT and project management teams to align database and software applications with organizational needs.
  • Ensure continuous improvement and technical advancements in knowledge management practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience of relevant Knowledge Management experience.
  • Provides recommendations and advice on system improvements, optimization, and maintenance.
  • Secret or higher DoD security clearance or have the ability to obtain a clearance.
  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate orally and in writing.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work independently or under only general direction.
