- Flush the inside of a livestock trailer using a 1” high volume hose.
- Power wash the entire trailer including gates, ramps, ceilings, I-beams and floors with a turbo tip power washer.
- Inspects the truck/trailers for cleanliness and any defects that may affect the safety of the animals and reports any defects to the Truck wash Supervisor.
- Complies with all company requirements on the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Reports all accidents and/or work related injuries (regardless of severity) to the appropriate manager including Safety Team. Effectively communicates with team members and managers.
- Effectively communicates with team members and managers.
- Performs other duties as needed and assigned.
- Personnel may spend 20% to 40% of their time outdoors exposed to potentially difficult environmental conditions.
- Personnel may spend 80% to 90% of their time kneeling or stooping over.
- Personnel may be subject to irregular work schedules, temperature and weather extremes, tight schedules, and other stresses related to washing large commercial motor vehicle.
- While washing, operators are exposed to noise and vibration levels that may be higher than those typically experienced in normal conditions.

- Hooking/unhooking various commercial Trucks/trailer units raise and lower the landing gear, operate the 5th wheel release lever.
- Climbing ladders of different design to access locations.
- Manually handling material and equipment requiring a lifting/handling force up to 50-75 pounds.
- Lift & pulling up to 50 to 75 pounds
- Ability to handle exposure dust, noise, odors, and temperature extremes.
- Operate power washer
- Stand / stoop and remain alert for an aggregate period of up to 11 hours with a 1 hour break.
- Perform squatting, kneeling, bending and climbing during the wash process.
- Properly enter and exit the vehicle’s 10 to 20 times per day. Trailer exit and entry is achieved with the assistance of various configurations of steps and handholds.
- Use a shovel to move and/or clean a load of material.
- Occasionally reach above shoulder level, at waist level, and below waist level for maneuvering and directing the controls.
- Spend at least 10% of the day standing and 90% of the day working on surfaces such as concrete, metal and on slippery and wet surfaces.
