This position offers a blend of traditional DEVOPS and PRODUCT OPS responsibilities that span deploying a development pipeline, automated testing suite/platform, and productivity capabilities (e.g., Jira). You will work alongside a talented team of technology professionals focused on separating the KidneyCo from Baxter. You will work closely with your peers to design, implement, and support operational technologies to support the development, testing, and support processes. You will also work closely with our business partner organization to ensure solutions meet business requirements, are actively used, and effectively support our global user base of employees and customers/Your TeamThis leadership role will responsible for collaborating closely with its peers to develop and support technologies to support the Day 2 Program. Often referred to as ‘IT for IT’, you will work closely with function and technical peers to understand the needs of the large global transformation program and meet them with efficient software solutions. On any given day, this leader will need to regularly flex function and technical skills while interacting with business stakeholders, development teams, and third part vendors. Additionally, this management position will be responsible for building out a team of employees required to deliver on the strategy. The focus of this team will be to implement foundational technologies that unleash the full potential of our business & technology organizations.What You'll Be Doing
  • Design, develop, and implement processes, systems, and technology to automate, enhance, and support the software delivery lifecycle
  • Lead the team to find new ways to automate our processes for testing, building, and deploying.
  • Design and implement various development, testing, automation tools, and required infrastructure
  • Design and automate release management process for cloud-centric technology eco-system
  • Define and setup development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
  • Provides collaborative leadership in matrix program organization to assigned team including internal and external consultants.
  • Incorporating industry standards and best practices to continuously improve our CI/CD pipeline.
  • Troubleshoot, identify, and fix problems in the DevSecOps domain
  • Position will manage decisions that have an extended impact on work processes, outcomes, and external partners and customers / patients.
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or business required.
  • 10+ years of experience in engineering or related technology roles.
  • Previous large transformation ERP program experience desired.
  • DevOPS or ProductOPS experience desired
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g. Worksoft)
  • Experience with Jira & broader Atlassian Suite
  • Proven ability to set technology direction and coordinate successful delivery and/or support of technology solutions.
  • Ability to define work processes and lead team members in successful implementation.
  • Systematically develops employees through stretch assignments with specific competency development goals.
  • Collaborating and Influencing - Negotiates with a genuine give-and-take approach, where parties act as true peers and decisions are shared.
  • A consulting background or experience with project management considered an asset.

The estimated base salary for this position is $144,000 - $198,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
