The ideal candidate must possess significant experience in performance testing of distributed applications. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and collaborate effectively with domain and technical experts in the team.The Opportunity:· Conduct Performance, Load, Stress, and End-to-End testing of member enrollment and eligibility applications.· Prepare large sets of data using automation to perform testing.· Collect and analyze results data describing the application performance characteristics/trends and create metrics.· Monitor systems in both production and test environments, measuring and recording key performance indicators, analyze and interpret results.· Communicate status and risks to cross-functional teams; offer mitigation strategies.· Analyze performance results and metrics to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for optimizations.· Troubleshoot performance problems for applications.· Work in an Agile environment.This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.What you need:· 7+ years’ experience with Performance, Load, Stress, and End-to-End testing of applications, preferably .Net applications using SQL server.· Experienced in preparing large sets of data using automation.· Experienced in SOAP, JSON, Web services and REST.· Experienced in collecting and analyzing results data and metrics describing the application performance characteristics/trends.· Experienced in monitoring systems in production and test environments, measuring and recording key performance indicators, analyzing and interpreting results.· Experienced in communicating status and risks to cross-functional teams; offer mitigation strategies.· Experience with analyzing performance results and metrics to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for optimizations.· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, knowledge sharing, collaborative and mentoring skills.· Work experience in Agile environment with application teams is required.· Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.Role Location: RemoteCompensation Range: $71,000-$107,000Our full-time, regular associates are eligible for 401K matching, and vacation accrual and are covered from day 1 for paid sick time, healthcare, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance benefits.
