This is a new addition to our team as we are strengthening our presence in renewable energies.What You Will Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 yrs. related experience
  • Candidates with additional experience in solar energy, habitat restoration, biodiversity, and GIS (Geographic Information Systems) will be highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations for renewable energy projects preferred.
  • Solid oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Desire to drive action and results.

  • Manage environmental consultants to define scope, execute environmental field studies and provide deliverables on time and within budget. Provide feedback on draft deliverables, summarize deliverables for management and present recommendations to meet project goals.
  • Support business development and finance team due diligence.
  • Regularly communicate environmental and permitting project progress and updates to cross-functional teams.
  • Utilize experience in managing consultants and navigating environmental permitting processes. This includes expertise in areas such as USACE Section 404, isolated waters permitting, local rezoning, conditional use permitting, and protected species permitting.
  • Assist in developing and coordinating implementation of forest mitigation plans for projects, in compliance with TotalEnergies Net Zero Deforestation Program.
  • Maintain file server with deliverables. Provide updates to project schedules and progress notes weekly.
  • You will visit project sites approximately every 2 to 6 months to ensure effective project management and compliance.
