- Responsible for generating equity commissions by giving quality advice and high-touch coverage to GBM clients covered by our franchise, in a compliant fashion
- Work with equity clients to help find liquidity solutions on block trades and ECM/Corporate transactions
- Produce notes/content from the trading desk, while leveraging our firm’s research and analyst recommendations
- Prospect for new opportunities, to bring new clients/relationships into GBM
- Leverage knowledge of US/Latam/Canadian equities and trading products to identify client opportunities within the broader equities franchise, resulting in increased revenues
- Leverage Buy Side relationships to uncover new revenue streams. This would include exploring synergies across business areas within GBM and translating product knowledge on both new and existing lines of business
- Champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge
- Collaborate with GBM team members to develop other bespoke trading products; For example, EES, options, custom equity baskets, etc.
- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions
- Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct

- 10+ years of experience in a similar role
- Buy Side and/or Sell Side experience required
- Strong working knowledge of Equities, Electronic Trading, Equity Research, Financing and Balance Sheet, Securities Lending and Swaps
- Knowledge of Regulatory guidelines that pertain to the US equity business is required
