We provide whanau centred care, to hapu whanau in partnership with their LMC. The role will be based in the Midwifery-Lead Unit.Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important SkillsFor this role, we are looking for a senior midwife who has:
  • A genuine desire to improve equity for whānau by eliminating barriers and bias that prevent whānau Māori engaging with Maternity services
  • A well-rounded midwifery experience with a passion for primary birthing • Knowledgeable in working with and implementing Turanga Kaupapa in practice while embracing the Kaupapa of Te Toka Tumai
