From simulations to clinical practice, our focus is not only helping students achieve their degree, but also preparing them to pass NCLEX and become a successful Registered Nurse. Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach and guide students in clinical theory and practical courses related to assigned program.
- Advise and mentor students across their academic program.
- Negotiate and grow cooperative relationships with practice leaders at clinical experiential learning sites.
- Occupational health and safety: Must satisfy clinical site compliance requirements (complete drug screening, CPR, Vaccination Requirements, and/or additional background check).
- Provide evidence/receipt of an active Arizona RN license prior to first day of employment with the College of Nursing.
- Bachelorâs Degree in nursing (BSN) AND three (3) years' post RN licensure of nursing clinical practice experience.
- Must be eligible to obtain a Fingerprint Clearance Card from AZDPS.
- Masterâs Degree and 2 years of experience.
- Experience teaching in higher education.
- National certification in area of clinical practice.
