General InformationPress space or enter keys to toggle section visibilityCountry/RegionSpainProvince/CityMadridLocationRosewood Villa MagnaDepartmentTalent and CultureJob TypeFull-time PermanentJob DescriptionPress space or enter keys to toggle section visibilityAt Hotel Rosewood Villa Magna we are looking for an Assistant Director of Talent & Culture*Responsible for supporting and assisting the Director of Talent & Culture.+Managing in a supervisory capacity all functions of the Talent & Culture department, in accordance with hotel standards.*Maintain a service and management philosophy which serves as a guide to respective associate.*Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards.RESPONSABILITIES*Ensure that standards are maintained at a superior level on a daily basis.*Promote the Rosewood culture and the culture of Spain amongst associates and in the community.*Ensure the existence of a recruitment and selection system, ensuring the right candidate for the right job.*Ensure that the application, screening, interview and hiring process for all candidates is carried out in accordance with hotel policy and procedures*Oversee the consistent implementation of corporate and local policies on recruitment and selection; ensures the proper training is implemented for major task players. Source candidates for managerial positions, in coordination with the Director of Talent & Culture.*Keep a network of experienced managers as probable talent pool.*Conduct interviews for management and executive positions.*Ensure progressive discipline procedures; monitor compliance with such; conduct counseling sessions with associates; ensure documentation and placement of records in associates' files.*Complete and maintain current records on a competitive wage and benefit survey for all hotel positions.*Establish guidelines for performance reviews on all employees.*Develop and maintain current job descriptions for all hotel positions.*Supervise and ensure a proper orientation program is delivered to all new hires.*Maintain confidentiality and security of associate and hotel records.*Knowledge oh Health and Safety matters.QUALIFICATIONS:*Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand associate's needs; work cohesively with associates as part of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.*Knowledge of government labor regulations.*Required to speak, read and write English, with fluency.*Minimum three years' experience as a hotel Human Resources Manager, preferably in a luxury or ultra-luxury environment.About UsPress space or enter keys to toggle section visibilityRosewood Villa Magna the hotel with a sense of Spanish Villa, features 154 thoughtfully appointed guestrooms and suites, distinctive dining experiences, a Sense Spa, and surrounded by unique greenery spaces, as well as secluded terraces and gardens providing a rich residential feeling.
