- Provide unique dining experiences to all of our guests through warm, personal & detailed service in a luxury, upscale and fast paced environment.
- Ensure a positive first impression of the restaurant for our guests through detailed cleanliness, set-up and ambiance control.
- Prepare appropriately for anticipated dining traffic by creating communication for servers & designating server section assignments.
- Ensure guests receive warm welcome, timely service and a fond farewell using guest names to offer a personalized service
- Maintain menus to ensure we always have an adequate clean supply
- Ensure cleanliness & orderliness of host stand including surrounding work areas.
- Control the flow of service in the dining outlet by seating guests in station rotation while maintaining the guest center reservation management system (Open Table)
- Handle reservation inquiries, take incoming telephone calls, note special requests by guests and indicate special attention to VIP guests
- Perform opening/closing side duties as assigned and set all tables according to standards and procedures
- Assist other Food & Beverage outlets with their operations during peak times or when required
- Apply necessary precautions with regards to the hotel food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
- Be well versed in hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
- Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management of the Hotel
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
- Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
- Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team
- Detailed & service oriented with an eye for detail to be self-motivated and energetic.
- Provide the necessary State and Federal Requirements to work in Food and Beverage (Tuberculosis Clearance)
