Job Description Summary As ISC E2E Strategy Associate Director, you will be primarily responsible for building and reviewing business cases of Network Architecture projects (manufacturing, logistic, sterilization, …) You will coordinate and challenge all assumptions to build robust Business Cases related to any architecture or any strategic initiatives related to E2E Supply Chain for all BUs and cross-BUs. You will also be responsible for providing guidance and finance support to ISC teams. This role will be a critical voice in strategic decision-making for Network optimization strategy and will work in close collaboration with the SVP ISC Strategy and Transformation and his team.Job DescriptionWe are the makers of possibleBD is one of the largest global medical technology companies in the world. Become a maker of possible with us.Key responsibilities will include:Drive discussions with ISC and BU leaders to ensure maximized value creation and work closely with BUs, Regions and global functions (GSC, Procurement, …) to understand context, drivers, dynamics and build robust Business CasesResponsible for all Business Cases related to Network architecture projects (manufacturing, logistic, sterilization, …), including existing and new programsSupport analysis and preparation for EPDTProvide ad hoc support or special projects, as required (including potential M&A projects)Provide guidance and assist in the coordination of quarterly projections, annual budgets, and 3-year strategic planning processProvide guidance for restructuring / integration accounting treatments in accordance with GAAPComply with all local, state, federal, and BD safety regulations, policies, and procedures through consistent application of sound quality assurance principlesAbout you: To be successful in this role, you require:Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance RequiredMBA/ CPA/ CMA preferredOperations Finance experience preferredMinimum 5+ years of relevant finance experiencePrevious experience within BDX Finance preferredKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong Financial systems and tools knowledge and utilization skills (HFM, SAP, JDE, BPC)Advanced proficiency in Excel as demonstrated by previous experience creating and manipulating complex spreadsheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, etc.) requiredPrevious ERP costing experience (SAP / JDE highly desirable) related to standard cost build-ups and work order variance analysis.Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) requiredStrong analytical and decision-making skillsDemonstrated ability to use logic, reasoning, and critical thinking in identifying the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problemsDemonstrated ability to build credibility with and challenge stakeholders to drive initiatives and deliver high impact solutions to meet business needsResilient and persistent when faced with obstaclesAbility to work under pressure with tight deadlines and handle multiple/detail-oriented tasksStrong collaboration and demonstrated ability to establish relationships and build rapport with all stakeholders, and influence management through informed discussions and presentationsTravel: plant site and headquarter visits, as requiredFor certain roles at BD, employment is contingent upon the Company’s receipt of sufficient proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
