- Facilitating problem solving activities and discussions
- Drive continuous and long-term technical downtime reduction through process-oriented management (i.e. Involvement of all people, definition & simplification of process, and the use of structured methods).
- Provide input and support in all strategic, operational, and policy aspects of the maintenance department: safety, quality, cost, delivery, motivation, and nature.
- Writing and communicating technical performance reports
- Identifying equipment defect root causes – Mechanical, Electrical, Automation
- Recommend and implement short and long-term countermeasures.
- Collaborating with and leveraging hourly workforce to develop and implement solutions.
- Identifying opportunities and solutions for maintenance spend reduction.
- Coordinating changes to maintenance strategy (preventive, corrective, improvement) to maximize equipment uptime & minimize costs.
- At minimum, you have an associate’s or technical degree or a combination of educational equivalent and relevant experience, required. A bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, food process engineering or engineering technologies is preferred.
- You have at least 5 years maintenance supervision experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment and can effectively lead a team of technicians in a manufacturing environment.
- You have experience with the ability to read PLC logic, variable frequency drive, automated controls systems, industrial electricity volts 24volt DC – 480-volt AC. Preferred.
- You have 3D-CAD experience related to machine design improvements (preferred).
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- You have the ability to lead and bring closure to open issues.
- You have the ability to establish and react to changing priorities.
- You have the ability to influence production unit and support staff.
- You have the ability to establish and maintain trust of the supervisory group and hourly associates.
- You have the ability to develop working relationships with safety, production, quality and engineering departments.
- You have working knowledge and skills in MS Office programs.
- You have ability to support a 24/7 production environment as business needs dictate. Work schedules could include day or night shift schedules, and occasional weekends as business needs dictate.
