About the role: The Technician position is an integral role within the team, delivering front line, best-in-class service to Windsor Motor customers. Windsor Motors have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified motor technician, to join our busy and expanding team. We have several locations across Dublin, Meath, Galway & Wicklow including Clonee, Belgard, Bray, Galway, Finglas and many more. This job entails working in a very busy dealership, so experience is essential, but ongoing training is provided. The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of vehicle servicing, diagnostics and be capable of producing quality work in a busy fast paced environment. Experience in light commercial vehicle would be an advantage. Key Tasks & Responsibilities: To service & repair vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' guidelines and dealership quality standards. To make written and verbal reports on service and repair activity to the workshop controller. To undertake vehicle road tests. The Ideal Candidate for This Role Should be currently working as a technician within a franchise dealership. Have experience in light commercial vehicles. Used to working in an environment where quality, efficiency and productivity are important. Timed served in a Motor Vehicle Apprenticeship or Modern Apprenticeship. Technical qualification - City & Guilds Motor Vehicle Craft or Technician to minimum Part II, or NVQ Level 3, or National Certificate in Motor Vehicle Engineering. Additional Information: The hours of attendance are based on a 39 -hour week. The hours vary from 8am - 6pm
