- Assist with the day-to-day provision of effective administration and data management for state based GenesisCare MDT meetings and manage the relevant administration tasks to support the requirements of Peer review as per RANZCR guidelines.
- Review and maintain patient lists for discussion at GenesisCare Oncology Multidisciplinary Team and Peer Review meetings, including the circulation of outcomes to each team member or attending physician in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all clinical records pertaining to the patient’s care are available to the Oncology Multidisciplinary Team in line with the MDT schedule.
- Prepare invites, agendas, meeting room(s) and tele-conferencing sessions as required.
- Responsible for the recording of accurate data, patient case information and required inputs of data onto Mosaiq.
- Where required, travel to GenesisCare or partner hospital sites across WA to facilitate MDT meetings, which may require overnight accommodation and associated travel.
- Obtain clinical records and other documentation as required by the Oncology Multidisciplinary and peer review teams.
- Prepare and submit invoices to Medicare for billing of MDT activity codes
- Liaising closely with the Cancer nurse coordinator and associated teams in order to maintain efficient cancer patient pathways and maintaining good working links.
- Liaising with local pharmaceutical company representatives to present at MDT meetings.
- Worked effectively within a Multidisciplinary team towards common shared goals aligned with improved access to high quality care for patients.
- An excellent understanding of the healthcare sector and exposure to detailed medical terminology.
- Managed the through-flow of information in a timely and effective manner; ensuring timeframes are adhered too even in highly sensitive situations.
- Evidence of communicating effectively with health professionals to ensure the cancer patient’s pathway is maintained.
- Experience ensuring all necessary information is readily available to provide efficient communication by relevant teams for all patients.
- Excellent IT skills, knowledge of Electronic Medical Record will be advantageous and bespoke IT systems.
