- Assist the Project Manager in developing and implementing assigned project budgets, including schedules, RFI's, Change Orders, Submittals, Project Documentation as needed.
- Process, distribute, and archive all project related documentation received and sent, using construction software, and maintaining an electronic and hard copy centralized filing system.
- Directly support a construction contract and may be co-located with the construction management team in a field construction environment, for some portion of the project duration.
- The control, scanning, indexing, linking and distribution of documents.
- This includes internal to the Owner and external to project participants distribution of correspondence, technical submittals, project reports, Requests for Information, and contract plans and specifications.
- Prepare transmittal, distribute documents using construction software and retrieve documents,
- Assist the Project Manager, in all preliminary construction activities such as contract award and LOI's.
- Assist the Project Manager in ensuring the efficient and smooth coordination of project operations. Also assist with ensuring field personnel have all information required to perform their tasks.
- With the help of the Project Manager/Superintendent, gathers plans and specs for building permit submittals.
- Attend weekly reviews of each assigned work project to go over the status of each project.
- Obtaining Dust Permits for all projects. This includes issuing of dust permits, signage, and keeping all permits current.
- Excellent attention to details and facility with numbers.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task, in a busy office environment.
- Ability to work under minimum supervision & resolve issues independently.
- Self-starter with strong multi-tasking and follow-up skills.
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
