Job Position: Assembler/UnloaderLocation: Statesville, NC 28677Join our dynamic team at a local company in Statesville, NC, where we are currently seeking skilled Furniture Assemblers and Unloaders to fill immediate 1st and 2nd shift openings in the Metal and Paint Departments.Key Responsibilities:Fabricates and assembles furniture such as doors, drawers, wall case and base units, hardware, locks, etc. By performing the following duties:Lays out and marks reference points onto components -- Understanding how to read a ruler and calipers are important for this.Operates machines such as pneumatic drivers, stacking machine, and other assembly equipment to assemble components to specified dimensions.Fits and assembles components.Insulates doors with foam or fiber as specified, if applicable.Installs glass components as required, if applicable.Packs completed units and trim per customer requirements.Other duties may be assigned.Shift/Hours:Monday - Thursday, 5: 00 am to 3: 30 pm.Monday - Friday, 3: 30 pm to 2: 00 am / 4: 30 pm to 3: 00 am.Shift times may vary. Overtime may be required.Compensation:Competitive pay starting between $16 - $18 per hour.
