SUMMARYThe Frontend Developer is primarily responsible for building new websites and web-based projects on schedule while maintaining high standards for quality control. This role also assists the other developers on our client's team responsible for supporting existing websites and responding to internal marketing requests. It involves collaboration within cross-functional agile teams to efficiently plan, develop, and deliver projects on time.
Other responsibilities include:
  • Maintaining and enhancing our client's codebase.
  • Proactively participating during project planning and execution.
  • Acting as a knowledge resource for our platforms and ensuring that processes and procedures are well-documented and followed. The ideal candidate can complete tasks independently, on time, and within scope under limited supervision.
Qualifications
  • Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a web production environment.
  • 3+ years of advanced HTML, CSS, and intermediate to advanced Vanilla JavaScript Dev experience. Proficiency in writing, analyzing, debugging, and delivering clean, validated, maintainable code across multiple browsers is essential. Solid experience with multiple CMS platforms.
  • Advanced CSS skills and proficiency in our proprietary CMS are critical for success.
  • Skills & Abilities:
  • Familiarity with website accessibility standards, including Section 508 of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment, capable of managing multiple projects.
  • Strong understanding of the web development project lifecycle and extensive knowledge of industry best practices.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills and a rigorous approach to quality assurance with a sharp eye for detail.
  • Strong project management and communication skills, able to effectively collaborate across teams in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Leadership skills are preferred, with a passion for mentoring and a commitment to continual learning and professional growth.
  • Work Environment & Requirements:
  • Hybrid work schedule with a requirement of 3 days in-office and 2 days optional remote work.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • You will be required to participate in culture-related meetings, activities, and events.
