The Night Auditor at La Quinta Inn & Suites By Wyndham Seattle Sea - Tac Airport is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel during the overnight shift. This individual will handle all front desk and accounting duties, including guest check-in and check-out, balancing daily cashiers' reports, and responding to guest inquiries and complaints. The Night Auditor must maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, as they are often the only hotel staff member present during the overnight shift.Compensation & Benefits:
The Night Auditor position at La Quinta Inn & Suites offers a competitive hourly wage of $19 per hour, paid semimonthly. Additionally, employees are eligible for a range of benefits, including health insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, and discounts on hotel stays within the Windham family of hotels.Responsibilities:
- Perform all front desk duties, such as guest check-in and check-out, answering phone calls, and responding to guest requests and inquiries.
- Verify and balance all daily cashiers' reports and complete necessary reports for management.
- Process credit card transactions, direct billings, and provide guests with accurate receipts.
- Handle reservations and room assignments, ensuring accurate and timely entries into the hotel's property management system.
- Resolve guest complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner, referring any unresolved issues to the hotel management team.
- Prepare and distribute all necessary reports for the hotel's management and other departments.
- Conduct security checks of the hotel property, ensuring the safety of guests and the hotel as a whole.
- Assist with the breakfast set-up and clean-up process if needed.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the hotel management team.Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in hospitality, front desk, or accounting is preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to handle and resolve conflicts in a professional and courteous manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management systems.
- Must be able to work independently and have excellent time-management skills.
- Available to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.EEOC Statement:
