Job DescriptionSummary:The associate is responsible for the duties and services that are of a support nature to the Revenue Cycle division of CHRISTUS Health. The associate ensures that all processes are performed in a timely and efficient manner. The primary purpose of this position is to provide support and maintenance for the various applications used across Revenue Cycle Business Services. The position works in a cooperative team environment to provide value to internal and external customers.The associate carries out his/her duties by adhering to the highest standards of ethical and moral conduct, acts in the best interest of CHRISTUS Health, and fully supports CHRISTUS Health's Mission, Philosophy, and core values of Dignity, Integrity, Compassion, Excellence and Stewardship.Responsibilities:
  • Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
  • Monitors application performance and addresses deficiencies.
  • Troubleshoots reported application issues and works with the CHRISTUS IS department and/or application vendor to resolve them.
  • Acts as a liaison between the Revenue Cycle department and application vendors.
  • Maintains Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) enrollments.
  • Maintains Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) enrollments.
  • Maintains tables within supported applications.
  • Maintains data integrity of supported applications.
  • Creates and runs reports used to drive workflow for the department.
  • Assists with implementations of new applications and upgrades of existing applications.
  • Performs Revenue Cycle functions in a manner that meets or exceeds CHRISTUS Health's key performance metrics.
  • Responsible for professional and effective written and verbal communication with both internal and external customers which results in customer trust and respect.
  • Provides continuous updates, information, and escalations to Revenue Cycle Leadership pertaining to systems, projects, and reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • A competent understanding of Revenue Cycle terminology is preferred.
  • Works with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent years of experience required.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience preferred.
  • Project Management experience preferred.
