Senior Systems Engineer - Windows Endpoint Management

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar technical subjects, or at least five years of related work experience
- Ability to script and develop using PowerShell and other languages
- Proven experience with workstation hardware and operating systems (Windows 10 and Windows 11)
- Proven experience with Remote Desktop Services (terminal services)
- Proven experience performing server systems design, implementation and administration
- Experience with cloud platforms including Intune and EntraID/Azure AD
- Proven experience with server class hardware from a major OEM (Dell, IBM, HP, etc.) and Windows server operating systems (2016, 2019, 2022)
- Knowledge of enterprise technology to maintain availability and recoverability of systems
- Enterprise knowledge of network services such as DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP and troubleshooting
- Participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment, security, and high availability with a forward-thinking mindset
- Design and maintain user facing endpoint technologies with a focus on Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS)
- Effective communication with business partners
- Experience with taking projects from initial concept through planning and implementation
- Perform systems design, implementation, and maintain infrastructure on prem and in the cloud
- A proven track record in and responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting PowerShell scripts for automating system administration tasks
- Experience with systems including Microsoft Configuration Manager, InTune, Remote Desktop Services, Active Directory, EntraID/Azure Active Directory
- Ensure all workstation endpoint and infrastructure components meet proper performance and stability standards
- Troubleshoot workstation/server related problems and quickly resolve issues
- Seek out automation opportunities to build consistency and quality with speed
- Research and implement new technologies
- Troubleshoot production issues and analyze failures to minimize outages and interruptions
- Provide Tier 3 Support for Help Desk/Desktop teams
- Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to after-hours escalations
