Job title: Maintenance TechnicianReports to: Maintenance ManagerSalary Range: $20 per hourSchedule: Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.Job Summary:The company is a startup; and as such, employees are expected to take on additional responsibilities, in addition to their initial job duties, on an as-needed basis, while keeping on target for any initial job duties outlined. The position is based in Lower Lake and includes our 4 properties within Lake County. While employed with the Company your job duties will vary from season to season depending on what property needs maintenance.The maintenance technician must complete all daily, weekly, and annual preventative maintenance tasks within a scheduled timeframe while maintaining and recording all required log sheets and history records. This position requires the use of judgment most efficiently and safely to complete the assigned projects and repairs. The scope of this position will not only be a warehouse setting but will also extend to our local company properties, assisting with projects and repairs as needed.Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responds quickly in the event of an emergency, notifies appropriate personnel, and follows safety protocol.
  • Follow all departmental SOP guidelines. Adhere to quality, health, and safety rules, guidelines, and regulations. Follow all OSHA regulations.
  • Inspect and maintain building systems such as heating, electrical, air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration, plumbing, etc. to ensure functionality.
  • Perform periodic inspections of recently maintained equipment to observe the quality of the maintenance performed and the operating conditions of the equipment.
  • Maintains organization, cleanliness, and inventory of equipment, tools, and maintenance shop.
  • Ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary, and document expenditures.
  • Report any concerns to management regarding unusual damage or wear to building systems or properties.
  • Assist in loading and unloading trucks with/without the use of a forklift.
  • Ability to read directions and assemble office supplies and equipment for all properties.
  • Perform repairs, modifications, and preventative maintenance tasks on buildings and facility equipment, fixtures and systems, and company property.
  • Plumbing: clearing stoppages and replacing fittings
  • General Carpentry: Wall repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, door/lock repair, ceramic tile repair, fitting, doors, and light woodwork.
  • Brush removal and burn pile maintenance will be required to work on maintenance projects that may occur on our properties.
  • Removal of dead and downed trees.
  • Use of heavy equipment (preferred)
  • Cultivation preparation: Land preparation, fencing, irrigation, post setting, etc.
